Bournemouth v Leicester City
7.45pm GMT, Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth
Bournemouth missed the chance to move well clear of the bottom three when they lost 3-2 at Hull on Saturday. They have taken 13 points from their seven home games and only four other teams have scored more goals at home. They have lost four of their last six games and conceded nine goals in their last three, but winning two of those six games has kept them six points above the drop zone.
Calum Wilson still looks like he's a pretty good fantasy choice at a good price too and Bournemouth's defenders continue to amass points no matter how many goals they concede.
Leicester got a much needed and unexpected win at home to City on Saturday thanks to a Jamie Vardy hat trick. They have lost six of their seven away games with only Palace conceding more goals away from home. The win against City was their first win in six games and only five teams have conceded more goals than last season's champions.
Vardy might just have put his dry spell behind him and he could do well for fantasy managers along with Riyad Mahrez if that is the case.
I think this will be a very close game and the chances are it will end with the honours even.
Everton v Arsenal
7.45pm GMT, Goodison Park, Liverpool
Everton lost yet again on Saturday when they went down 3-2 at Watford after scoring the first goal. They are one of three teams unbeaten at home and only two teams have conceded less goals at home, but they have drawn four of those seven games. They have only won once in their last 10 games and Southampton are the only team in the top half to have scored less goals.
Just when you think it's time to sell Romelu Lukaku he turns in a good performance for fantasy managers, but his inconsistency can be very frustrating.
Arsenal came from behind to win 3-1 at home to Stoke on Saturday and keep within three points of Chelsea at the top of the table. They are the only team still unbeaten away from home and no other team has conceded less goals on the road with only City scoring more. They're unbeaten in their last 14 league games with only Liverpool scoring more goals than Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez is still the best fantasy performer in the Arsenal team and a must have for fantasy managers with Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin all looking pretty good too.
Everton need to get something from this game, but I think Arsenal will get the better of a close affair.
Wednesday December 14
Middlesbrough v Liverpool
7.45pm GMT, Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough
Boro lost 1-0 at Southampton on Sunday and their lack of goals is a real hindrance to them. They have only taken seven points in their seven home games and no other team has taken less points or scored less goals at home. They're the lowest scorers in the league, but only four other teams have conceded less goals.
Boro's defenders have done reasonably well for fantasy managers, but they might not fare too well in this game.
Liverpool could only draw 2-2 at home to struggling West Ham on Sunday and their defensive issues seem to be hampering their chances. They have won half of their eight away games with only City and Arsenal scoring more on their travels. They're the highest scorers in the league, but only one other team in the top 10 has conceded more goals and they only took one point in their last two games when six points were there for the taking.
Sadio Mane looks like the Liverpool player to have at the moment with Adam Lallana, Roberto Frimino and Divock Origi all doing quite well too.
Liverpool need to get back to winning ways and I think they will just about manage to sneak a win in this game.
Sunderland v Chelsea
7.45pm GMT, Stadium of Light, Sunderland
Sunderland lost 3-0 at Swansea on Saturday and missed the chance to move out of the bottom three. Like Boro they have only taken seven points from seven games on their own ground with only Swansea and Hull conceding more home goals. They have lost more games than any other team, but they have won three of their last five after failing to win any of the first 10.
Jermain Defoe is still the only Sunderland player who fantasy managers should even consider.
Chelsea weren't at their best on Sunday, but they still managed to beat West Brom 1-0 and keep their three point lead at the top of the table. They have taken 16 points in their seven away games and only Arsenal have conceded less goals away from home. They have won 12 of their 15 league games and their last nine in a row and no other team has conceded less goals.
Diego Costa and all of the Chelsea defenders are doing really well for fantasy managers and Eden Hazard is doing almost as well as them.
I think Chelsea will have too much for Sunderland and will win this one by a couple of goals.
West Ham United v Burnley
7.45pm GMT, London Stadium, London
West Ham got a very good point away to Liverpool on Sunday, buy they're still far too close to the relegation zone for their own good. They have only won two of their seven home games with only Boro scoring less goals at home and only Swansea and Hull conceding more. They haven't won in their last six games and Hull are the only team to have conceded more goals.
Dimitri Payet is still the best fantasy option in the West Ham team while Michail Antonio can be good at times too.
Burnley just about managed to win 3-2 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday and keep themselves five points clear of the bottom three. They have only taken one point in their six away games and they have only managed one goal in those games too. They had lost three in a row before beating Bournemouth and it's only their home form that's keeping them in mid-table.
Fantasy managers should steer clear of Burnley players when they're away from home in particular.
I think West Ham will get a much needed win in this game to ease the pressure on them.
Crystal Palace v Manchester United
8pm GMT, Selhurst Park, London
Palace had another high scoring thriller on Saturday, but they at least managed a point this time when they drew 3-3 at Hull. They have only taken seven points from their seven home games, but they're the only team in the bottom seven to have scored more than they have conceded at home. They have only won once in their last eight games and they conceded 21 goals in those games, but only the top four have scored more goals than them.
Wilfried Zaha is playing very well for fantasy managers at the moment and Christian Benteke is on a good goalscoring run too.
United managed to see off Spurs on Sunday as they try not to lose any more ground on the top four. They have only lost two of their seven away games, but they have only scored nine goals in those games and they conceded 10. They have only lost one of their last 10 games, but they have drawn six of them and no other team has drawn more games.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan might just be the United player to have for fantasy managers now that he's managed to get into the team and their defenders are worth considering too.
Manchester City v Watford
8pm GMT, Etihad Stadium, Manchester
City scored two late goals at Leicester on Saturday, but they were already 4-0 down at that stage. They have only won three of their seven home games and haven't won in their last four on their own ground. They have only won three of their last nine games and have only one clean sheet in their last 10.
With Sergio Aguero suspended it's hard to see which City players to pick for fantasy managers, but Kevin de Bruyne and Nolito are probably the best bets.
Watford came from behind to win 3-2 at home to Everton on Saturday for a much needed win. They have only won two of their seven away games and they conceded nine goals in their last two on the road. They have conceded more goals than any other team in the top half of the table and they really needed that win over Everton after losing three of their previous four.
Jose Holebas seems to do well when Watford do well and he doesn't cost too much for fantasy managers either.
Despite their recent poor form I still think City should be good enough to win this game by a few goals.
Stoke City v Southampton
8pm GMT, BET365 Arena, Stoke
Stoke led at Arsenal on Saturday, but ended up losing 3-1 despite putting up a good display. They have won as many games as they have lost at home, but only three other teams have scored less goals at home. The defeat against Arsenal was only their second one in 10 games, but they're struggling for goals with only five other teams scoring less so far.
Stoke's defenders have done well recently and Joe Allen hasn't been the worst buy for fantasy managers either.
Southampton won 1-0 at home to Boro on Sunday, but they're still struggling to score goals. They have only won once in seven away games and only three other teams have scored less goals on their travels. Only Boro have scored less goals than Southampton, but they have three clean sheets in their last four games with only Chelsea and Sours conceding less goals.
Southampton's defenders have done very well for fantasy managers and there should be at least one in every team.
I can't see there being too many goals in this game and the chances are it will end in a draw.
Tottenham Hotspur v Hull City
8pm GMT, White Hart Lane, London
Spurs lost away to United on Sunday and their inability to score has them losing ground on the top four. They are one of three teams still unbeaten at home and no other team has conceded less goals on their own patch. They have lost two of their last three games after being unbeaten in their first 12 and they aren't scoring anywhere near as many goals as the four teams ahead of them.
Harry Kane could be the player to get the goals Spurs need while their defenders, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen aren't doing too badly.
Hull looked to have taken three badly needed points at home to Palace on Saturday, but they had to settle for a draw in the end. They have lost five of their seven away games with only Palace and Leicester conceding more goals away from home. They have only won once in their last 13 games and they have the worst defensive record in the league too.
Robert Snodgrass has been by far the best of the Hull players for fantasy managers.
I think Spurs should be far too good for Hull and should win with a few goals to spare at least.
West Bromwich Albion v Swansea City
8pm GMT, The Hawthorns, Birmingham
West Brom did their best to shut up shop away to Chelsea on Sunday, but they ended up losing 1-0. They have only lost two of their seven home games and their only home defeat in their last five games was against City. They had taken 10 points from their four games before the defeat against Chelsea and they're within four points of the top four.
West Brom's defenders haven't done too badly for fantasy managers while Matt Phillips, Solomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli have performed well too.
Swansea got a hugely important 3-0 win at home to Sunderland on Saturday and it moved them off the foot of the table and almost out of the relegation zone too. They have lost five of their seven away games with only three other teams scoring less goals away from home. They have won two of their last three games after going 10 games without a win before that and they have scored eight goals in their last three games.
Gylfi Sigurdsson continues to impress for fantasy managers while Fernando Llorente has done very well when he has got the chance in recent weeks.
I think West Brom should be good enough to take the three points in this game.
That's it for this week.
See you next week.
