Friday April 5
Southampton v Liverpool
8pm BST, St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton
Southampton won 1-0 away to Brighton last week to move five points clear of the bottom three and give themselves a little breathing space in the fight to avoid relegation. They have won their last two home games including a comeback victory against Spurs, but only three other teams have taken less points at home. They have won three of their last four games and their run of games after this game should surely see them take enough points to stay up.
James Ward-Prowse is the Southampton player most likely to do the business for fantasy managers at the moment while I still think Nathan Redmond is worth considering too.
Liverpool left it very late at home to Spurs last week, but their 2-1 win kept them one point behind City at the top of the table with six games left to play. They won their last away game at Fulham, but it was only their second away win in six games despite taking more points than any other team away from home. They’re unbeaten in 11 games and have only lost one game so far with no other team conceding less goals and only City scoring more.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are the in form Liverpool players for fantasy managers at the moment.
I think Southampton will give Liverpool a real run for their money, but Liverpool will get a narrow victory.
Prediction: 1-2
Saturday April 6
Bournemouth v Burnley
3pm BST, Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth
Bournemouth lost 2-0 away to Leicester last week, but they only need one more win to pass the magical 40 point mark and avoid the drop for another season. They haven’t won in their last three home games, but they have won seven of their 16 games on their own patch. They have only won once in their last eight games, but their remaining fixtures should give them ample opportunity to retain their Premier League status with plenty to spare.

Ryan Fraser, Callum Wilson and Josh King are all in good form and worth considering for fantasy managers.
Burnley won 2-0 at home to Wolves last week to move five points clear of the relegation zone, but they have some tough games to go before the season ends. They lost their last two away games after being unbeaten in the previous four and only three other teams have conceded more goals away from home. They have lost four of their last five games and they need to get something from their next two games as they have a very tough run in.

Dwight McNeill could be the Burnley player to have for fantasy managers and he’s available at a very good price too.
I think Bournemouth’s home form should be enough to see them win this game despite Burnley’s desperate need for points.
Prediction: 2-1
Huddersfield Town v Leicester City
3pm BST, John Smith's Stadium, Huddersfield
Huddersfield lost 2-0 away to Palace last week and combined with other results that defeat meant they were relegated. They have lost eight of their last nine home games and no other team has lost more games or scored less goals at home. They have lost 17 of their last 19 games and they failed to score in 11 of those games with no other team scoring less goals and only Fulham and Cardiff conceding more.

I can’t see any Huddersfield players to recommend to fantasy managers.
Leicester won 2-0 at home to Bournemouth last week and they’re only three points off seventh place. They won their last away game at Burnley, but that was their first away win in five games and only five other teams have taken more points away from home. They have won their last three games and they haven’t failed to score in their last seven games

Jamie Vardy and Youri Tielemans are the in form Leicester players for fantasy managers with James Maddison worth considering too.
I think Leicester will continue their push for seventh place by taking the three points in this game.
Prediction: 0-2
Newcastle United v Crystal Palace
3pm BST, St. James's Park, Newcastle
Newcastle lost 2-0 away to Arsenal on Monday night, but they’re still seven points clear of the bottom three. They have won their last five home games and they scored 12 goals in the process, but only three other teams have scored less goals at home. They have only lost three of their last 10 games, but only the bottom three have scored less goals even if only six other teams have conceded less.

Solomon Rondon is the Newcastle player most likely to be of interest to fantasy managers.
Palace won 2-0 at home to Huddersfield at the weekend and then lost 2-0 away to Spurs on Wednesday night which saw them move eight points clear of the relegation zone. The defeat at Spurs was only their second away defeat in seven games and only six other teams have taken more points away from home. They have taken 14 points from their last nine games, but they could do with getting something from this game with some tough games on the horizon.

Luka Milivojevic continues to impress for fantasy managers with Wilfried Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp doing quite well too.
I think this will be a very close game and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it end all square.
Prediction: 1-1
Sunday April 7
Everton v Arsenal
2.05pm BST, Goodison Park, Liverpool
Everton won 2-0 away to West Ham last week and they’re still in with a chance of finishing seventh which would probably see them qualify for the Europa League. They have only won twice in their last nine home games, but they did keep clean sheets in their last two home games against Chelsea and Liverpool. They have taken 10 points from their last five games and they kept clean sheets in four of those games.

Gylfi Sigurdsson is the Everton player most likely to make a difference for fantasy managers while Richarlison has done well in recent weeks too.
Arsenal won 2-0 at home to Newcastle on Monday night and they’re now in the top four despite having a game in hand on the rest of the top six. They’re the only team without a clean sheet away from home and they have only won once in their last eight games on the road. They have taken 22 points from their last nine games, but six of those games were at home and five of their last seven are away from home.

If he’s fit to play Aaron Ramsey could be the Arsenal player to have for fantasy managers with Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sead Kolasinac worth considering too.
I think this will be another very close game with Arsenal just about managing the win they need to move up to third place.
Prediction: 1-2
Monday April 8
Chelsea v West Ham United
8pm BST, Stamford Bridge, London
Chelsea won 2-1 away to Cardiff on Sunday and then 2-0 at home to Brighton on Wednesday night to move ahead of United into fifth place. They have only lost one of their 16 home games and no other team has conceded less goals at home. They have taken 13 points from their last six games since their 6-0 defeat at City and they’re the lowest scorers among the top six.

Eden Hazard is still the Chelsea player to have for fantasy managers while all of their defenders and keeper are pretty good bets in home games too.
West Ham lost 2-0 at home to Everton and their chances of finishing in the top half of the table are quite slim when you consider their remaining fixtures. They have only taken one point and scored one goal in their last six away games and they still have to travel to United and Spurs. They have only won three of their last 10 games and with their remaining fixtures they will do well to win more than another couple of their last six games.

I can’t see anything other than a comfortable Chelsea win in this game.
Prediction: 2-0
That's it for this week.
See you next week.
