Arsenal's Away Kit For Next Season Leaked

With the new season drawing even closer Arsenal fans are clamouring for any news of the club. The world of Twitter was briefly lit up yesterday when a notable Arsenal Tweeter (@DarrenArsenal1) leaked what he believes to be the new away kit for next season. The tweet was soon deleted but it had already been retweeted so often that it's now out there forever.

If it really is the new away kit for next season it's certainly a winner in my eyes. I love to see an Arsenal away kit in yellow and blue and this ticks all of those boxes. Who can forget some of the famous victorious seasons in those colours for Arsenal starting with the 1971 double.

For those of you who haven't seen it here's a look at the kit as it was posted.

Of course someone else may have posted the picture previously but I only became aware of it from the source I mentioned. In these days where so much information is available so quickly it's not always easy to find the original source of anything.

In other Arsenal news the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain seems more likely by the day. The other club said to be interested in him were Juventus, but they signed Carlos Tevez on a three year contract last night. That should give Arsenal a free run to sign Higuain unless of course City show some interest in him now that they have disposed of Tevez.

With Real Madrid appointing Carlo Ancelotti as Jose Mourinho's successor hopefully the Higuain deal can come to a climax. His signing would be a real statement of intent from Arsenal and would show they really are determined to compete next season. Hopefully he will arrive very soon and he will be followed by another couple of top class players.

That's it for today.

See you tomorrow.
