Predictions For Premier League Gameweek 34

It's that time of the week again when I attempt to predict the outcomes of the upcoming Premier League games. I managed to get one perfect scoreline, five correct outcomes and four incorrect outcomes in the midweek games. It means I'm still fifth in my predictions league with only five rounds of games to go.

There are only six games this week because of the FA Cup semi finals, but the eight teams that miss out will get to play again in a couple of weeks. Fantasy managers need to try to manage their players to allow them to have the maximum amount of players available to play every week, It's not an easy task sometimes, but it can make a big difference overall.

Here's a look at how the predictions league stands.

Norwich City Vs. Manchester City

Saturday April 14, 12.45 pm BST

Norwich have done very well since their promotion, and had a well deserved victory at Spurs on Monday. They will attack City I would imagine, and it might just pay off for them.

I don't think there are any outstanding Norwich players to recommend between now and the end of the season.

City are just about hanging on to United's coat tails in the race for the league title. They have only won two of their last 10 away games though, and they quite simply have to win this game.

With City away from home it's hard to see their players shining, but David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Joe Hart are the best fantasy bets among them.

I have a feeling City will find enough to edge a very narrow victory.

Prediction: 1-2

Sunderland Vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Saturday April 14, 3 pm BST

Sunderland have had a couple of bad results in the last month, but they will relish a game at home to the bottom club.

Stephanne Sessegnon, James McLean and Simon Mignolet are probably the best fantasy bets in the Sunderland team.

Wolves are as good as relegated, and it's only a matter of when they can no longer stay up. They have lost their last seven games in a row, and they might not get another point this season.

Wolves players should be avoided for fantasy managers at all costs.

Prediction: 3-0

Swansea City Vs. Blackburn Rovers

Saturday April 14, 3 pm BST

Swansea have slumped recently with four defeats in a row. There is a theory that they have been found out, and another defeat might just prove that theory to be true.

Michel Vorm, Scott Sinclair and Gylfi Siggurdsen are the best fantasy bets in the Swansea team.

Blackburn should have taken at least a point against 10 man Liverpool on Tuesday night, but they lost to an added time goal. They are three points adrift of safety, and they really have to take something from this game.

Despite missing a penalty against Liverpool Yakubu still scored twice, and he got four goals in the reverse fixture against Swansea.

I can see this game ending in a draw.

Prediction: 1-1

West Bromwich Albion Vs. Queens Park Rangers

Saturday April 14, 3 pm BST

West Brom have struggled at home far too often this season. They were well beaten away to City on Wednesday night, but they will fancy their chances against relegation threatened QPR.

I can't see any West Brom players to recommend at the moment.

QPR have looked very good at home in recent weeks, and they are now three points clear of the drop zone. Their away form has been poor though, but I'm sure they will do their best to widen the margin between them and the bottom three.

Jamie Mackie is a possibility for fantasy managers at the moment, but he does his best work at home and he might be demoted to the bench when Djbril Cisse returns.

I have a feeling QPR will be hard to beat, and they will be happy to take a point from this game.

Prediction: 1-1

Manchester United Vs. Aston Villa

Sunday April 15, 4 pm BST

United looked certain to cruise to yet another league title until Wigan beat them on Wednesday night. They need to turn the style on at home and really put Villa to the sword to show City they will not be caught. I haven't been overly impressed by them this season, but they have done enough when it has been needed.

Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani could all do well if United are at their best.

Villa have only lost four away games this season, and only United can better that record. They have a lot of injuries at the moment, and they need a few more points to be certain of staying up.

The only reason to pick Villa players at the moment is because they play this week, and they have an extra game next week.

I think United will have far too much for Villa, and get the three points they need to edge closer to the title.

Prediction: 3-1

Arsenal Vs. Wign Athletic

Monday April 16, 8 pm BST

Arsenal have won nine of their last 10 league games, and been in superb form at home. A win in this game will move them so much nearer to their goal of a third placed finish, but they cannot take Wigan for granted.

Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Thomas Vermaelen are all well worth having in any fantasy team at the moment.

Wigan had a great win at home to United on Wednesday night, and they were very unlucky to lose at Chelsea last Saturday. They have climbed out of the relegation zone, and any points from this game would be a real boost for them. They are playing very well at the moment, but they are still struggling to score.

Ali Al-Habsi could be in for a busy day, but he has done very well for Wigan this season.

I think Arsenal will get the win they need to put real pressure on the teams chasing them.

Prediction: 2-0
